Come on a musical trip to the Caribbean with Ryan Trujillo and his Latin Jazz trio! Featuring pianist Jeff Goodkind and drummer Ricardo Lomelí Gomez. They will be performing a variety of original and classic songs showcasing Afro Cuban and rhythms like the mambo, cha cha cha, danzón, rumba and more! Bassist Ryan Trujillo is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most prominent working musicians and jazz educators. Holding a bachelor’s and master’s degree in jazz studies from San Jose State University from 2018 and 2022 respectively. Trujillo has worked extensively as both a sideman and a bandleader of his own projects. In performance Trujillo combines his rich musical knowledge and virtuosic musicianship with an uncompromising passion for groove, expression, and improvisation.
